Who owns your cosmetic brands, and why you should support small businesses who pour their heart and souls into producing exceptional products in small batches.
One of the biggest companies in the world is Unilever. They own over 400 cosmetic brands and have an annual advertising budget of 8 billion U.S. dollars! They own Dermalogica, Murad, Dove, Vaseline and hundreds more not to mention that they own as many food brands such as Lipton, Hellman’s Best foods, Ben & Jerrys etc. Their President was also once President of Procter & Gamble. Who owns Bobby Brown, Mac, Clinique, Origins, Jo Malone, Lab series, Creme De La Mer, Aveda and more?

What company owns your Louis Viutton Bag brand? It’s LVMH who also owns Benefit cosmetics, Sephora, Fresh, Givenchy Perfume, Guerlain, Moet Chandon and many more! Loccitane is also on the Hong Kong stock exchange and controlled by some men, who brag that they never even tried any of the products. They just look at numbers.
With advertising budgets in the billions, it makes it very hard for anyone to compete. They answer to shareholders and constantly buy out any competition.

I once read an article that said that 70% of the cosmetic industry is owned by 10 companies worldwide! After my brief analysis it seems it may be an even greater percentage!
It is time to make better choices when it comes to personal care items.

We at NaturesOrganix.net recommend buying from small independent developers and distributors who answer to you, instead of to the shareholders. 🙏💓
